Saturday night we stayed at my Mums house and early Sunday morning Ryan and his Dad went coyote hunting and Tracker and I headed over to his Mums house. Tracker spent the morning getting pampered from Grandma Becky once again. She has a magic touch with him because he turns to mush.
We were going to have a Christmas dinner with extended family that night so Becky planned our Christmas Sunday afternoon. She did such an amazing job making it special and like Christmas for us. She made us all stockings and stuffed them to the brim with fun goodies. We did our gift exchange and all got spoiled. Tracker was absolutely in love with his big car set from Grandma and Papa. He laid on it when he opened it and kept giving it loves. Brooke gave Tracker his very own PINK tutu. Her little man Easton loves his so it was only fitting for Tracker to get one as well. He wore it for a little while but was not to crazy about it.
Becky had the very talented Troy (Shaun's brother) draw this amazing picture of Makenzie in the arms of Jesus Christ. It took my breath away when I saw it and couldn't stop looking at it. I absolutely LOVE it. It was such a special and thoughtful gift that I will treasure forever.
The boys get some sort of toy on Christmas every year. It usually lasts that long... Christmas. before its broken. This year was Nerf guns. They spent the entire day hitting each other and us girls with it. Ryan's poor Mom got it in the face more than anyone. They also had the grand idea to shot the TV while watching their hunting shows. They found it rather entertaining and it kept them busy for a while.
That evening we had a Christmas dinner with the Webster side.
It was so nice to get together with everyone and catch up. I absolutely adore Ryan's Grandma and love being around her. She has the best personality and is so funny.
We played the "left, right" game again and had a good time once again.
Aunt Sherry gave Tracker the cutest pop up book which he loves.
Monday morning we got up and headed to Discovery Gateway. I was anxious to see how Tracker would do there. He was asleep when we first got there and I thought I should let him sleep a little. Well I ended up only letting him sleep for maybe 10 minutes. I was to excited.
He woke up in the ball area and went NUTS! From there we went to every area and touched every toy. He got soaked in the water. He took a drive. He cried on the horse. He went to a music class. and he had the time of his life in the pit of ground up cork. We spent hours there and could have stayed longer if it wasn't for an already sleepy boy who really did need a nap by that point.
We spent the rest of the day relaxing and spending time with Ryan's family.
We had dinner at one of our favorite places that we don't have in the tri-cities which is Buffalo Wild Wings. My Mum and sister Jill met us so it was a nice treat to see them one last time.
We got to the airport early as it was but then our plane was delayed. Twice. So we were there for what felt like FOREVER. Tracker did so good but would not give up and go to sleep. Our plane was suppose to take off at 9:40pm but didn't end up taking off until 11:50pm.
and he didn't fall asleep until we were on the plane. He was so tired but luckily that meant he slept the entire flight home.
The next day we picked up Harley from the kennel bright and early. She was so excited to see us and we couldn't wait to get her home. Tracker cleaned up in the gifts department.
-good thing we had a leggings suitcase because that became the mickey suitcase to get home-
It was an amazing trip and one I will always remember. We miss our family so these trips really are the best when we get to spend so much 1x1 time with them all. We are counting down the days until we can go back and stay a little longer.
