Goggles

This boy.
Makes me Laugh.
EVERY. DAY
and this day was these goggles.
He wouldn't take them off. and proceeded to wonder around, play and even lounge while his eyes looked like they were bulging out of his head.
I nearly fell over laughing the entire time.

Day Date

Since I babysit at home full time any day/afternoon/evening/moment Tracker and I get to ourselves we take full advantage. So when we had a day off in the middle of the week. We took full advantage of having a full day date. I tried to think of as many fun activities Tracker would love and that would be special just for him. We got up early and headed to Petco right when it opened. We watched every single critter and fish for what felt like hours. We picked out a new toy for Harley and tried to avoid Tracker ramming my ankles with this mini shopping cart.

We ran through the dollar section at target
Grabbed a few bags of M&Ms
Walked a trail along the river & threw a billion rocks and stick in it
Grabbed some nuggets for lunch
Took a little break to come home for a nap
Went to one of our new favorite parks to get some swing time in
Headed to a book store to read every book this little boy could get his hands on. twice.
Bought a ball. a "sokkee" (soccer)
Grabbed a pretzel

Ruined our dinner by eating dessert first

Picked up Daddy from work and had a dance party on our way home

Hot Dogs and ketchup for dinner
Swimming until it got dark
A little sand in his pants to top off the evening and we headed in for a bath and late bedtime.

I never never forget how blessed I am to be able to stay home with this boy. To see every smile & laugh. To kiss every bump and scrap. There is nothing in this world I would want more.
Babysitting and having a side business isn't easy. I am stressed, overwhelmed and cant ever seem to get away from it. I am always "at work". but I would do it a million times over to never be away from my boy. He is my life. He is my reason. He is my best friend and
I am loving every day I get to be his Mum.
Our days are always crazy but that just makes our days 1x1 that much more amazing.

Mount Rainier

We had camping trips planned all summer.
but life got in the way and we had to cancel most of them. We have had a very busy summer so far which made it hard to get away. Thankfully we made sure this trip happened. I was so excited to explore Mount Rainier. We didn't get out of town until later Friday night and we still had a 3 hour drive. We go there around 9pm and did our best to set up camp in the dark. Tracker was terrified when we first got there. He isn't a fan of the dark so this was over the top for him.
Poor boy sat in the truck watching Mickey whining until we got everything done.
The next morning we got up early and immediately headed out. We did a little hiking around the camp but found out we couldn't take Harley on any of the hikes within the national park.
We headed to a different part of the mountain to go somewhere Harley could go as well. We watched the river and threw rocks for a while before heading back. Our camp spot had a stream running through it so Tracker spent a good amount of time in there. He played in the dirt. Made dirt angels. and relaxed.
We left Harley in the tent and did some more hiking in the National park without her.
We all slept great in the tent and no one wanted to leave.
Sunday morning we did a little more hiking without Harley.
After we got packed up and was getting in the truck we told Tracker to say "Bye camping" he burst into tears and started yelling "No bye camping" He was not really to leave.
We enjoyed it enough we came home and planned our next camping trip right away.
Just a few more weeks until we are back!
