22 Months Tracker Kent
New Words: There is not a day that goes by that this kid isn't saying something new. Some of my favorites... Mowing, Big Water (meaning big swimming pool), No More, "Okay Mama" when I ask him to do or stop doing anything.
Favorite Foods: Spaghetti and Tuna Casserole.
Favorite Book: This last month is love of books has exploded. We seriously read 2-3 hours out of the day. Book after book after book. He is obsessed. and will sit and look at the entire thing while I read. If he starts to get bored he will say "All done book" and take it from me and get another.
Favorite Toy: Mickey and Balls.

Injuries: Tripped on a table and smacked his head on a rock fireplace. Fell while climbing up our picnic table and bit through his lip. We nearly got him stitches for that one but decided while chatting with his doctor and my sister that since they would have to put him under for stitches it would be better to just let it heal on its own.
Milestone: He listens so well and will get just about anything we ask him to get or put things away in the right place. He loves to help pick out his outfits for the day and his jammies at night. He is putting 2-3 words together and sometimes 4. He can count to 5.

This n That:
- Daily trips to the park are a must. Parks without swings are not our favorite but we deal.
- The kids I babysit are definitely Trackers best friends and he loves them so much.
- Paisley is Trackers girl friend. He is obsessed with that girl and she kind of loves him as well.
- He loves his new swing set in the backyard and could spend day and night just sitting in the swing. It doesn't even have to be swinging. Its so funny to see how long he will sit there doing nothing.
- He loves to dig in the dirt.
- He has had some serious injuries this month and I am not looking forward to his future as far as that goes.
- His obsession with Mickey is growing but his obsession with Toy Story is growing faster.
- He loves playing with his trains and tries to pull the track out every chance he gets.
- He is learning so much its crazy. He knows the colors blue, yellow and red. He knows the name of other colors but cant identify them.
- Can count to 5 but only when he feels like it.
- Still says he is 2 when you ask how old he is.
- Putting 2-3 words together consistently.
- Loves learning new animal noises... Wolf, mouse, deer, elk and coyote are the latest.
- Loves books and is constantly saying "Read book". When we finish one he jumps up and grabs another. I swear we read hundreds a day... which we don't but man it feels like it at times.
- His picky food stage is not passing at all.
- Will cover his eyes if something starts happening in front of him that he doesn't like... Something on TV or kids fighting, etc.
- Would wear his slippers instead of shoes if I let him.
- Knows where the balls are at all stores. I have learned that instead of buying him a new ball or fighting with him wanting a new ball everywhere we go. I keep a stash of them in my purse and when he starts wanting one ill bring that out and he thinks its new since he hasn't seen it in a few days.
- Balls are take the cake as his most favorite thing ever. He knows every sport that involves a ball and requests to play each and everyone everyday. How he says basketball is my favorite.. "backet-ball"
- His good sleep streak has come to an end and we are now having issues again. Naps are still great.
- His canine teeth have finally popped through. ALL 4 AT THE SAME TIME. He has not been happy.
- He is over his fear of big balls so to celebrate we bought him one.
- He loves the farmers market because he gets lemonade and popcorn every time.
- I have decided beef jerky is a major food group in Trackers life right now because its one of the only meat items he will eat.
- Still on Rice milk only and he is still doing a million times better.
- He has been such a good napper but I might be risking ruining that because I have been all about him napping in my arms. He is growing so fast and it kills me.
- When we go running he normally is great about staying in the stroller as long as I don't run longer than 30 minutes. but if I am out longer than that he has to get out and run with him. Which slows us down significantly... Mainly because he has to stop and smell every flower weed.
- We danced in the rain for the first time and caught rain drops in our mouth. Tracker thought it was hilarious and would not stop giggling when they landed on his tongue.
- Loves his "Flif-Flofs" (flip flops)
- Has a basket of balls and dumps every one of his thousand of balls out of the basket around 23847 times a day. Seriously. It gets old.
- Throws every pillow off every bed, couch or chair in every room he is in.
