Devlin and Teagan Mae came back with us after our last Utah trip. They came with no return home date and we were just going to play it by ear. We were so excited we could make this happen. On the drive home we made a Summer Bucket List. I wanted to do one anyway with the 3 of us but with these kids who I knew would need to stay busy we got right on it. They came up with 98% of the items on the list... Including 'Get a Tan'. Silly kids. We wasted no time once we got home to start crossing items off the list. Unfortunately we did have a few hang ups like our truck broke down leaving us with NO car a few days and our computer breaking and other random issues that made it so we had to be a bit more frugal with our adventures. We really stretched our imaginations at times but ended up doing a lot of fun things every single day. I learned very fast that its hard to keep a 10 year old entertained. A bucket of blocks or a bunch of picture books doesn't do the trick. We spent a lot of time outside which immediately allowed us to cross off that 'Get a tan' to do.
