I have to first start by saying this is completely unreal to me. I feel like I am in a dream. We are in our last month with a baby and will soon be starting life with a toddler. We will have had Tracker for an entire year. I have to pinch myself thinking how lucky we are to have had this past year.
Tracker 11 Months
Weight: 23 lbs
Height: 30"
Clothes: 12-18 month shirts, 12 month pants, 18 month jammies, size 4 shoe in converse, size 5 shoe in toms, size 4 diaper.
Eating: Favorite foods are mac n' cheese, yogurt, mandarin oranges, peaches, chicken and carrots. Still on a regular Breakfast at 8am, lunch at 12pm and dinner at 5pm schedule. He has 2-3 snacks a day. He drinks 4-5 bottles a day and 1-2 sippys. Still haven't found anything he doesn't like. We have introduced hummus, grilled cheese, jelly sandwiches, mac n' cheese, peppers, Grandma Dorothy beans.
Sleep: After MONTHS of trying everything we could possibly think of to help this boy sleep better we have finally been able to get him into a fairly good routine and without a fight. He still goes to bed between 7-8pm and wakes between 5-6am. Although its early we are fine with it. Ryan and I are both early birds (although we wouldn't be upset if we could sleep in on the weekends but we cant have everything). He takes his first nap between 9-10am. He has been napping on the floor for months now. He has never napped in his crib since he was born. When he was tiny he would sleep on our bed (when he wasn't sleeping in my arms) but once he became mobile we moved him to the floor where he has napped since. He did fairly well sleeping on the floor. He does wake up half way through his nap needing a little snuggle and then will go back to sleep. He then takes another nap between 2-4 pm, depending when he is ready, and sleeps anywhere between 1-2 hours. We are hoping next month is even better!
Likes: Being tickled, being chased, going outside, swimming, baths, eating, banging on things, screaming, his Dads beard, face timing with our family, making a mess, being only in his diaper, playing in the grass, swinging on swings, playing with friends, balls.
Dislikes: When he cant see his Mum, when his Dad leaves in the morning, when he runs out of food, when you take something away from him, Harley barking, getting his diaper changed, when you are holding him and he wants to get down, the washing machine and dryer, when he drops his ball.
.He likes to come to the gym with me, he sits in his stroller and watches cartoons
.He thinks the treadmill is hilarious but is totally freaked out by the weights and cries the entire time I use them
.Is ticklish around his neck
.Starting to have him try cows milk
.Learned to wave, crawl faster, walk better along the furniture, and eat more independently
.He can say Ball (Ba)
.He can say Wow
.Understands and listens when he say "No"
.Listens when I say "sit on your bum" when he is in the tub trying to stand
.Will come when you call
.Plays peek-a-boo
.Will go into the right room when you say its nap time, bed time or nap time.
.Likes to help me get ready in the morning and helps by brushing my face with the power brush
.Loves to brush his teeth
.He is so sneaky
.He knows he shouldn't give Harley his food so he puts his hand under his trey and watches me while he drops it all sneaky
.Gets so excited when Ryan comes home and crawls as fast as he can to him
.When he crawls extra fast he puts his head down
.Sticks out his tongue
.Makes this O shape with his mouth all the time but its always with something exciting or new or that he wants to show you
.Harley has become rather protective over Tracker and doesn't like strangers or other dogs near him. We have tried to get her to calm down but she loves this boy and there is not much you can do when it comes to a dog and her baby
.We have gone on a lot of outdoor actives and Tracker couldn't be happier
.You will most likely always see Tracker with a ball in his hand he will find them everywhere and hold onto them with a death grip
.For naps he drinks his bottle then turns over, wraps his arm around my neck and goes to sleep on his belly. Its one of the best moments of my day
.In the car he gets mad and rubs his legs/feet together like a grasshopper while breathing heavy
.He always has his ankles crossed
.Likes being home better than being out and about
.There has only been 2 foods he has not liked- avocados and hard boiled eggs. I have continued to give him both and he now loves avocados. He is eating more eggs but still not much so ill continue giving it to him until he gets used to it
.He likes to hold his balled up socks, I think he thinks they are a ball
